WE ARE LOOKING FOR WORK FOR OUR CLIENTS
(click above for more information)
WHO WE ARE
The Siloam Springs Adult Development Center is a Sheltered Workshop that provides services to disabled adults. As such, we subcontract work from and for individuals, businesses and industries. Our clients complete the work and they are paid on a piece rate basis. We have been working successfully as a contract manufacturer for more than 35 years.
WHAT WE DO
What we have traditionally done is entry-level repetitive work. Our people are extremely talented and competent at tasks that might be considered boring or menial but are still very necessary. Examples include assemblies, sub-assemblies, sorting, packaging, counting, wiring tasks, quality control inspection, repair, assembly and component packaging, re-packaging, collating and inserting, poly bagging, heat sealing, labeling,
rust removal, gauging, deburring, cleaning parts, inventory tracking and management, consulting, unassembly, salvage, repackaging, pre-packaging, measure & cut, stuffing envelopes, staining, sanding, pop riveting, bending lockout tools, RF Dielectric Welding, Plastic Recycling compaction, construction of entry mats and weight counting. If you have an item that was supplied to you from a source in a distant location and it “ain’t done right” but you need it NOW, perhaps there is a way we can fix it for you since there is not time for the prime manufacturer to retrieve it and fix it or replace it in a timely fashion. We also do items that are new to a manufacturer or a “one time task” where the manufacturer doesn’t choose to add employees and prefers to
outsource locally to a known, proven and reliable source.

ADVANTAGES OF HOW WE DO WHAT WE DO (BENEFITS) -
24 HR A DAY– 7 DAY A WK - 365 DAY A YR PHONE CONTACT &
REACTION
No chain of command delay or determination. We are the responsible party. We will work nights, weekends, holidays or whatever is necessary to meet your regular or emergency needs.
All work is done exactly to your specifications or better. In a rare instance when it is not (as may be the case in your own facility), it will be corrected or replaced immediately at our expense.
We provide a higher level of intense and ongoing supervision, training, monitoring and quality control than can be provided “in house.”
We react to emergency needs, changes and new tasks immediately.
We can fill your “gaps” during peak periods of your production.
When you receive outsourced parts or sub-assembles and some or all are defective or do not meet your
standards … but you need them NOW … we can sort, gauge, modify, deburr, repair or whatever may be necessary to get them to you on a timely basis which can’t be accomplished by sending them back to another state or country and waiting for them to be corrected or replaced.
We can do “one time” jobs that you have no one to do and it would not make sense to hire someone to do for a short period of time or to hire a “temp”who is an unknown commodity.
Disabled workers can do a better job of doing entry level tasks that might generally be considered boring and
menial because they are trained to do it right, they continue to do it as they were taught, what may be a boring task to the general work population is a challenge to them, they are dedicated to and motivated by doing “their job”, it gives them a reason to get up in the morning and is a key part of their life …NOT just a “boring job that is a necessity in order to get to a better job.” It IS the “better job” for them. It becomes their life’s work. A job that may be considered an “entry level … get any warm body on it” task can be the lifelong dedicated task of individuals in our program.
Tracking and inventory is done on a continuous and daily basis and records are kept and supplied to you as per
your requirements. We have semi and pickup height docks. We can pickup and deliver parts or receive and ship from our facility in accordance with your needs and requirements. Our scales are certified.
Our highly trained and experienced staff has a proven history of working with the disabled and manufacturing. We are known as one of the leading programs of our type in the Midwest. We built this reputation by providing superior customer service through quality workmanship.
